ABC Licence Training (RTO 3399), trading as ABC First Aid is a well-established and well-respected Registered Training Organisation that services a diverse community of partners across Australia.

We have been around since 1998 and our mission is to support the health and safety of Australian communities through our First Aid Training Partners. We are governed by the requirements and guidelines of Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.

We have been registered as a Registered Training Organisation since 1 Jan 1998. We are committed to complying with the Standards set under the Vet Quality Framework. Further details about our scope of registration can be found on the National Training Register here.

Susan Devlin

General Manager

The General Manager of ABC, Susan Devlin brings vast experience in Training Management and Directorship roles from well-known and reputable Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). Susan’s wealth of knowledge with over 15 years of First Aid training experience, and over 10 years of experience running RTOs enables ABC to deliver high-quality training, with online learning and our first aid publications.

Susan regularly participates in industry professional development as she believes it’s important to remain industry-current, to lead and set an example for ABC training partners. She enjoys engaging with ABC partners during our regular webinar events, sharing experiences and providing advice on all things first aid delivery.

When she’s not at work Susan enjoys water sports, jet skiing, camping and outdoor activities in general. Susan & her partner have three dogs – Rocco, Rua (both cavaliers) and Benny (toy cavoodle); needless to say, they are in charge at all times!

Jodie Doyle

Administration & Compliance Officer

Jodie is our highly valued Administration and Compliance Officer. This complex role involves all aspects of the business from student paperwork, database administration, publications, accounting and assisting our co-providers with system and student enquiries. Ensuring that ASQA compliance is maintained by our co-providers and ABC is also a large part of this role. From ensuring we have compliant resources to yearly government reporting and everything in between.

Jodie has a great passion and enthusiasm for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) industry. She has completed further training in this area and is always taking all opportunities to further her knowledge and expertise in the exciting area of the education industry.
She enjoys assisting our partners in any way possible and strives to be readily available.

Outside of work, Jodie and her husband have two children (one with special needs) who keep her busy and active. She enjoys crafting, reading, and spending quality time with her family.

Dee Heffernan

RTO Engagement Officer

 

Dee, our friendly Engagement Officer and training expert, boasts over 8 years of dedicated experience in the training sector. Dee has built an impressive career as a Trainer and Assessor in the first aid and aquatic safety industry. Her work spans various industries and groups, including teaching LLN and ESL learners and mentoring students into pre-employment, job-ready roles. She champions interactive and engaging training methods while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Passionate about mentoring trainers and contributing to their professional development, Dee fulfills this passion at ABC. She engages with trainers daily, assists with their professional growth, hosts webinars and upskilling workshops, and oversees trainer and partner communications. Additionally, Dee manages feedback from students, trainers, and ABC, ensuring continuous improvement in our services.

Jeremy Banks

Sales Representative

Jeremy takes the lead in offering solutions to prospective partners interested in joining ABC. We firmly believe in being the industry’s best, providing exceptional services and a top-notch student/learning management system to our partners, and Jeremy passionately conveys this message.

In collaboration with potential partners, Jeremy delves into their current challenges if they are associated with an existing RTO, showcasing how ABC can address and alleviate these issues.
